since the z4 uses the 'normal'4 bolt hold down it should easilly take a peltier.
if you want to improve the waterblock take a look at the danger den maze 2-2 it has a cold plate that screws into the base giving the peltiers more pressure then the core.

yea, but i dont wanna throw out another 100+ bucks just to go plet.. plus ill need a bigger psu and everything.. it was just an idea.. if the z4 actually bolted stright through the mobo, it would be easy.. but i didnt realize that be4 i bought it.. so its a bad design in my mind.. i think ill just get the xp 2200+, and save my money up for that..

if you got a flat bit of copper you could turn your z4 into a maze 2-2.
you can still use you block with a peltier though, just put it in between the cpu and waterblock (remember a cold plate), and insulate it

but the z4 doesnt mount through the mobo, it has a pos plastic adapater.. so i dunno if that plastic adapter could hold all the pressure and weight..

ive read all the ones on overclockers.com, but i was looking for a very detailed tut on how to setup a plet and how to make sure the mobo wont get frostly..
is there a way to dial the plet? a friend said he was able to keep the plet from not being cooler then room temp so he wouldnt get frost..
i wanna go plet.. but i dont really wanna spend more then 100 on making my pc useing one..
You can use the Z4 waterblock without that adaptor. It was just made for ease of use. Just use the proper screws etc...

well the adapter is the only way the block will stay on the mobo..
Just go to home depot and get the proper mounting hardware.
