Can i SLI a EVGA GTX 260 with the new 216 core or cant I? i wanted to know for my future upgrade's. thanks in advance :D

Could be wrong, but unless you currently have a 216 core, I think thats going to be a negative. I think they have to be the EXACT same card to run in SLI. Which kinda sucks, would be nice to be able to take any card and throw it in and go.

It has been stated by EVGA that you can indeed SLI both versions of the GTX260 together. However they did not comment on whether it would utilize all 216 cores or be limited to 192. You are usually always limited to the slower of the 2 cards when running SLI. I am curious about the 2nd question myself. As I would like a regular 260 to SLI with my new 260-216.
