Well, I disabled APM and ACPI for stability, it worked great, except the unstability with my soundcard. My usb and soundcard are on irq 10. The sound card has a lot of distortion, and every once and a while my computer will freeze only when playing mp3s. The error is "IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" so I'm guessing it's from that conflict. Is there a way I can change the irq, i have irq 2,7, and 9 free. I want 1 irq per device.

If not using USB, disable it in the BIOS so that it doesn't occupy an IRQ.

If using it, only other choice is to move the sound card to another slot. Your BIOS may give you the ability to change the IRQ, but it doesn't always work once getting into the OS.

I use USB a lot, and accually I just my mouse on USB. I'll try the moving the slot, but the setting in my bios for irqs don't effect windows.

Can also be from memory instability and usually has been in my case.

May want to up the VDIMM voltage a notch or two to see if it helps.
