View Full Version : SMP client requiring reset all the time?!

Lately, I've been having major trouble with my SMP client. On seemingly random occasions, I just get the "Foldin@Home has experienced a client-core communications error...." popup, and logs say MISSING_WORK_FILES. It works again if I just delete quene.dat, for more or less time. Sometimes five WUs, sometimes 1/10th.

I've tried reverting to stock speeds, without any improvement.

Help?

He can't. The Deino client is 32 bit only, and he is running a 64bit OS.

I just tried reinstalling it with no success. Put the computer running memtest when I'm in school, just in case. I suspect my two 512MB sticks of valueram is f'ing with my XMS2.

I'm just reporting what they have on their download page:

6.22 beta2 for Deino MPI (32-bit only)

Neither 32 bit nor 64 bit Deino will work with FAH on Vista 64 or XP x64. I have tired it.
