Without documentation, how would one determine how many memory banks a motherboard has?

i dunno, but i just wanted to say you have a very nice setup ;)
you could dl 3dmark 2k1 and give us some scores ;)
If we're dealing with more recent PCs then it's generally 2 banks per DIMM slot.

Thanks, Dissolved! And Jon, are you sure that's not 2 slots per bank?
Yes, double sided memory uses 2 memory banks- one slot.

Just downloaded 3DMark2001 and ran it. Got an 8032. Probably not too good, huh?
I get 7900 default test regular gf3 no oc at 173mhz on the same board and memory.
Mem-normal,cas2,2.8v 1/4 divider.
So I would say its about right for 165mhz with that card.
Also, remember that almost any mobo's manual can be downloaded from the website of the manufacturer. So there are probably very few boards where you can't get the documentation for free.
