media player 8 auto changing my genres

Quick question, when I play a file on MP 8 it changes it's genre to folk. Why? It doesn't make any sence, i play the file, and it's now under folk. Weird.:confused:

I have no idea. what cd is it. might be the database or is it all music changes to folk?

It changes all the newly added music to folk, if i change it back, it still becomes folk again. It makes no sence at all.

well M$ is stupid that way. I don't think you can change it. but doesn't really matter unless you have tons of different types of music. maybe M$ has a patch for media player. did you dl all the extras?
