Scroll Lock?!?! What?!

red keyboard leds just caps and num, anyway why do i need to change the scroll lock led? who uses it, oh wait i dont know what it does!

I just read that and i thought to myself 'I have absolutly no idea'

Anyone? I have wondered this for years....

Scroll Lock is a toggle key that changes the effect of the cursor movement keys. In most current programs, the Scroll Lock key is disabled and pressing it has no effect. In programs that support this key, when the Scroll Lock key is on, pressing the arrow keys makes the display appear to scroll while the cursor stays in its original position. When the Scroll Lock key is off, the cursor moves as far as it can before the display starts scrolling.

Was most widely used when we only had command line OSes and programs.

yea im gonna make my own logo for my keyboard, it used to say like packard bell or somethin, and i cut that off. im gonna dezine it sometime...

that would be cool..
i wanna mod my ms keyboard soon.. its brand new.. but i get tons of dust in my room, so im useing the one i got with my alienware till i plan out how to mod it ;)
