Desktop Crash When Exitting CS - Win XP Pro

I got a problem when I play CS and then I'm finished I quit the game and it'll show like parts of my desktop and it won't load.

Partially freeze and won't load at all so I have to reset manually.

I do believe it is a Win XP issue as it happened before and stopped and now happened again.

Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a patch/fix for this?

Alot of ppl have probs with CS and XP..


including me..

sometimes I would crash to the desktop while playing..

and during the game, my fps count was high, but the game still didn't seem to flow smooth and correct..

so I boot back into ME to play it..

Think I fixed it.
Change the compatibility mode in Windows XP to act like its running on Win2K
