Temps???

I just got some ASII on my proc and vid card (voided the best warranty ever already)... Well my temps went down at first and dropped an INCREDIBLE amount over the past 2 days... my idle temps... get this... are 17 sometimes 18!!! I stopped adding ice cubes a week ago and now... well I just don't get how they're that low... my full load temps are where I get concerned... 30 sometimes 31... Now this waterblock couldn't be seated better if I tried... why the 12-13 degree difference... and how can they be sooo low... my case temp is 25 FYI... some one please explain this.:confused:

Start fresh and remount everything.

Make sure the ASII has some absolute 100% contact with a thin layer.

You should be applying like a pea size of ASII to the heatsink take little by little and filling the core and then rub the heatsink with a clear bag.

Then in your case it should be a clean install, this is very hard with Slot since if you can get two people to hold the slot cartridge down so the ASII doesn't get all spreaded out and tighten the nuts to the water block.

If it is relatively flat with no scratches a lap wouldn't be necessary but don't become lazy when playing with cooling :D
