UPS delivered my package somewhere else =[

order a side panel for my CM690 off newegg, was suppose to come today never came check tracking number shows it was left at my front door but nothing at mine and i was home all day.

so i called ups and they will try and trace my package, so i dont know what to do next, i know ups called up newegg and said to get info from them about the trace but i mean eh?

i hope someone who got it drops it off at my house =[

do i contact newegg and see what they can do or am i stuck with no side panel ?

What is the address on the order? I'd call UPS and see to what address it was delivered and go a knockin if it's close by.

they said it shows mine but nothing here so =|

always got ups packages sent to me fine, just hope they return it to my address i guess i will wait untill tomorrow and see if someone drops it off

wish they had signature for it instead of just leaving it =|

Wow, that's odd. Maybe the usual driver was out sick and they had a guy who was legally blind deliver the package :screwy:

Seriously though, keep us posted. If all else fails, I'm sure Newegg will pull through and do what's required.

yea i usually tip my ups guy to always the same person so i know he knows where i live lol but yea im sure newegg will help me, but i will wait and see tomorrow

Most definitely call Newegg & let them know what happened. As the shipper of the item you ordered, UPS will need to have Newegg make the official request for the trace.
A couple of months ago, I bought a mobo on EBay that was shipped via UPS. The seller sent me a UPS Tracking Number. UPS Tracking showed "Billing Info rec'd" & was never updated. I called UPS & was told to wait till the normal delivery day as sometimes an item wouldn't scan properly. After a week with no package, I called UPS again & was told to contact the seller & that, as the shipper, only he could start an official trace. It took over another week for UPS to determine that the package was lost, & almost 2 more weeks for them to pay the shipper's claim, so I could get my refund.
My regular UPS delivery driver is a super guy & this was the first time I had them lose a package. IMHO, the claims process took far too long.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Newegg ship you another side panel right away & not wait for UPS' bureaucracy to slowly grind thru its process!

you can you just need to contact the seller who ever it might me and ask for it.

that has happened to me before from newegg...it should have nothing to do with newegg but rather ups delivered to the wrong house....it turns out some other guy in the neighborhood gets computer parts all the time and ups just assumed that package was for him...i got my stuff in about 2 days from ups.

well good news who ever had it left it at my door just now was opened but nothing was missing i mean who would take a side panel but anyway i am just glad they left it at my door :)

eh, an honest person would not have opened the package before delivering it to you.
Glad ya got it though, in my neighborhood it would be considered as gone for good. I have had crackheads walk by and steal packages off my porch...

sure the guy delivered it at a neighbors house, was too lazy to read the actually address and just left it.

It may be that whoever got your packaged gets packages often, and didn't even read the label before opening. Had a WTF moment when they saw the side panel, then looked at the label. In my office building packages occasionally get misdelivered, and we always end up opening it before realizing it's not ours, as does everyone else.. At least once a week I'm either walking a package to another suite, or someones knocking on our door.
