I was watching the history channel the other day and modern marvels was on talking about magnets. In one section of the show they were talking about computer technology and people trying to create MRAM, or magnetic RAM. Supposedly this would be able to prevent RAM from losing all data when you turn the computer off, so when you turn it on it will turn on instantly! That's ****ing awesome. I wonder how close that is to reality?
