Nvidia Asus 9600GT 512MB DDR3 not being detected

My asus 9600gt wont be reconized by smartdoctor nor atitool.
Can anyone help? I downloaded the driver from nvidia.com
I also tried the one that came in the cd with the card.
I also tried the one on asus.com.
It gives me some weird clockings on ati-tool..
There not numbers just signs.
And it wont show the 3d box when clicked.
This card is 3 days old :S

try re-seating the card, and if that doesnt work, boot the computer up w/o the card, then shut it off and boot it with the card.

Both methods, no luck any other ideas?
