View Full Version : new memory advice
I have a Asus P5k deluxe and wondering if anyone has some good advice on what RAM i should get.
I currently have 2 gigs of Corsair XMS2
456 mhz
5:5:5:12
and 1:1 FSB:DRAM
I had bought 4 gigs of Patriot ram a few months ago and either the sticks were bad or didnt play nice with the mobo.
These look nice and cheap and 4 gigs for $76+shipping

Go either Gskill or OCZ. These are my choices.

Thank you for the quick response
i forgot to post the link to the ram i was talking about in the original post but it is there now. With so many reviews (+2000) its really a no brainer.

My recommendation. If you want 4gb, don't get 4x 1gb, get 2x 2gb.

I swear to god I only clicked "Post Quick Reply" once.
Edit: I made that post, clicked quick reply once, and it showed the post 8 times on my screen. So I made this post, then deleted one of the 8 replys, and all but one dropped off. A little bit wierd...
