Good Sound Card?

Well i need a good sound card to replace my onboard, I don't know too much about this stuff though. I can spend around $100 on these, maybe even more if there's a big difference. Anything you guys reccomend?. Also is there a difference between a pci sound card and pci express? By the way im on vista ultimate 64-bit and i'll be using my hd202 headphones.

Only card I've had is the x-fi extreme gamer....made alot of difference from onboard sound in fps costs about £50-£60. alot of people say the drivers arnt good but I've not had any problems with them on xp or vista in x64. Can't grumble for the money.
