Is there someway of cooling the water real good, so that the water cools the CPU?

Or shouldn't it be real cold, so that it can take the warms out of the CPU?

 *thud*

Well typically your radiator (Heater core) with fan will do the majority of the cooling, but if that is not enough:

Freeze distilled water and pour the cubes into the resevoir. If you want a more permanent solution take a look at this:

Drop it in your resevoir, never tried it, because I never found a vendor for one.

If you are stuck with an inline setup, your limited to radiators and peltiers.

As Vash explained it, for watercooling its called a Radiator. Samething for a car basically cools it down.

Hmmmm, that IceProbe looks interesting. Although I'd probably need to insulate everything. Resevior will get condensation as well as the blocks. If only I could find a vendor.

Okay, nevermind that. It's over $100(not sure what currency). Either way, it's not worth it for my right now.

Forgive me, but, i'm a little lost on what you exactly do with that Ice Probe? Can someone shed some light on how to use it? Thanks!

Would it cool water so much it would cause condensation when cooling a GF3 overclocked (RAM and GPU blocks), a heavily overclocked Athlon, RAM, 3 HDD's, a PSU, and a CDRW drive?

Henry: Big enough signature!?! Fills up my entire screen :).

Install a cooling tower. They are cheap and will cool your water to below ambient. Condensation is also not a problem with a cooling tower as they will not cool below the wet bulb temp.

Here is a pic of mine

Neat. Any articles on how to build one :)? How hard is it? *ARE THEY NOISY*?

Hook it up to one of the power connectors from your PSU and throw the Ice Probe in your water container.

I have been asked a few times to do an artical on this cooling tower but still have not got around to it. It is slightly different then most cooling towers that are used in computers as it is closer to commerially designed towers. It uses a spray chamber rather that a shower head and the fan is top mounted (using a bend at the bottom interups flow slightly). This setup gets to 1°C of the wet bulb temp which is the lowest a cooling tower can go to. Most commerially designed towers get to within 4°C of wet bulb as it is not practical to design for any lower temps. The closer to the wet bulb the cooling tower goes the bigger it gets (by a large factor). As a computer is only a small load I decide to go all the way. To get the other 1°C I would mosy likely have to double the size again.

If I get time next weekend I will do up an artical. Who do I send it to to get it posted.

Itww:

if you want a place to buy watercooling stuff in the UK the best place i have found is www.tekheads.co.uk they sell a heater core if you want to avoid messing around with an old one

There's a link on the main page to submit an article :). As always when submitting an article anywhere, use spellcheck :D! Take lots of pictures of the important parts of your setup to put in the article if you can as well.

i saw someware some just put a heatsink in the inside of the rezivore then a pelt on it and another heatsink or something ont eh outside to cool the one side of the pelt so the other gets cold
thats probabl what that one thing is
