Hello,

What is the different between a 4GB (2x2) two memory types and which is better for gaming purposes? Thanks

PC6400 800MHZ (4-4-4-12) vs. PC8500 1066MHZ (7-7-7-18).

The PC8500 is about $30 more.

Get some ram that can do at least 5-5-5-15-2T. GSkill is cheap and some of them overclock very nicely for the price. But you can usually find an amazing deal at the egg.

This isnt a bad deal at all, after rebate

7-7-7-12 is pathetic for DDR2, stay away.
