Amazing how fast browsers are improving given some competition.

yeah, its always neat to see stuff like this :)
even more when it comes to security comabting spam/ spyware etc...
If you download the beta, make sure you turn on the new tracemonkey engine if you want to experience the extra speed. It's supposed to be 40 X faster than Gecko. However, it could still be riddled with bugs at this point since it is not turned on by default.
If you have the nightly build of Firefox 3.1 installed, you can turn TraceMonkey on by going to about:config and then toggle the javascript.options.jit.content setting from false to true.
I am using it right now and have been the last few hours. Only a few compatability issues with addons, but nothing major.

Well I spoke too soon. Dam FF Beta keeps crashing. Reverted back to FF3
Guess that's why they call it beta, lol.
They had better make it faster, chrome is my new browser due to the speed improvement!
It's always getting better when the upgrading becomes better than its last version. But when I tried it, the new beta keeps crashing, there must be some glitch on the new site so I have to go back to FF3. :(
