Ok, just cleaning out some old files for equiptment I no longer have installed and want to try turning the ECHO off. I don't know how to do this, well.... I can't remember which program it was in, that I saw it.
Thanks.
:cool:
What echo are we talking about?
Before when I had Win98 I never had echos..

What is the file name? I remember seing it in "Windoz". It isn't the autoexec.bat file and not the win.ini file.
I just can't rememer where I saw it B4.
Try this...should work.
Go to Start-->Run-->type in MSCONFIG-->Enter.
First tab you will see a couple of check boxes. Uncheck Process AUTOEXEC.BAT. Uncheck Process CONFIG.SYS.
Save settings and reboot. Should be gone after that.
