Maybe they weren't suppose to be released yet, files no longer on megaupload.

Grr...just got 8.10 installed...Installed 8.10 in Ubuntu as well hoping for fan control in CCC as well, but no. I can use a command in terminal for fanspeed but it only works for one card. Anyone have ny luck controlling 2 fans in linux? Sorry if it seems off topic, but about a week or so ago I posted in Linux no response, hoping some ATI guru maybe missed it!

Downloading and trying as 8.10 is giving me trouble in CoD4 with game freezing, no problem before 8.10 official, nothing else changed, hopefully this fixes it.

w00t clean install! And wow this is the first set of drivers to install first try for me since 8.6! And when I rebooted after all my cleaning and installing, it automatically started crossfire (never did before) AND it remember my fan speed setting? Weird? I thought maybe it didn't remove old drivers, checked system info and it lists new drivers. Really surprised. CCC loaded faster on startup and fans kicked in sooner, really impressed thus far, hopefully it fixes my CoD4 problem! go ATI w00t w00t!

Well played CoD4 for some today, 3 freezes in under 45 minutes, one time VPU actually recovered it and it went back to playing for about 5 minutes then completely locked up. Anyone got any ideas?
I got those kinda errors when my GPU was unstable.

It was fine back on 8.9 and 8.10 betas. Haven't changed any clock settings or anything. Temps are mid 40s idle, highest I saw after about 30 minutes was 62C on 1st card 60C on 2nd. Any way to find out why it froze or crashed? Does ATI create an error log or anything?
Just reset back to 780/1000 from my 800/1100, hopefully this will help, but I'm still lost as to why 800/1100 ran fine at 8.9 and 8.10 betas but 8.10 official and 8.11 betas it won't...

Well since I backed it down, and played for about an hour no freezes, 1 lag spike, but nothing much. Not sure 8.10 and 8.11 betas made my 800/1100 unstable when it was before?

I haven't noticed a diff between 8.10 and 8.11 rc1. I got the same 06 and vantage scores with both. I am able to run my 4870 now stably at 875/1150 now. Was running 850/1130. But, I also got a new power supply, so it may not be because of the drivers.

Better not be, our I'm gonna hunt you down and jack your drivers, mine are poo. I got XP Pro x64 though, heard a lot of people say they don't like the ATI drivers for it, seems buggy, grabbing Vista from campus bookstore on Monday Business for $90 for Ultimate ofr $139 pretty cool, full version too. Maybe that'll help some I dunno.

seems faster, or at least min 1 per month, ATI has been going good like this for well over a year now.
