Already a day old; Link (http://kotaku.com/5064363/is-this-the-first-bioshock-2-trailer):

Its not much, but I still got excited. I really liked Bioshock and am glad work is getting done on a sequel.

ya im wondering how they will start it. I mean there were two endings in the last one. Maybe they will have two options for a start?

I'm excited!

Bioshock, for me, is a breath of fresh air that i'm enjoying right now. It's not often that I've experienced a single player FPS that 'breaks the mold' in terms of having a totally unique environment and backstory.

If legit, the game's called BioShock 2: Sea Of Dreams...

What so weird is... the name and the logo are obviously an "under the sea" theme, but the grown up little sister (?) is on land...

Then again, I'm still working my way through the game so I might learn something in the meantime that'll make this more clear to me (haven't seen the endings yet). I probably should avoid this thread in case of spoilers ^_^.

I would say maybe the main character has split personalities, but....How do I say this without spoilers? In the "good" ending, you kinda see him not his OLD self.

I am having a rough time trying to finish Bioshock and I bought it when it first came out.

It grabbed me, the graphics atmosphere are great. But i'm just struggling to finish it because it's just not compelling.

I'm at Arcadia now so I don't have far to go, but level after level is the same just the environments are different.

And the hacking system is a joke. And there's just too many plasmids. I don't use ice or the dummy or telekenesis. Electricity most always because of hacking and sometimes fire.

Hopefully I will be able to finish it by the time #2 comes out and I hope they learned their lesson about the game.

^ Well its a different kinda game, definitely with an emphasis on inventory management. Some levels got me turned around a bit or seemed like filler, but I absolutely loved it. Meat, just burn through the rest of it, you'll enjoy having finished the whole thing.

LOLOLOLOLOL

Yeah, the two endings would have to have some influence on a sequel. I don't really think they'd give you the option of selecting how you played last game, though. And, no spoilers, but I'm not sure a storyline revolving around revisiting Rapture would function well. Time will tell. Man I might have to start a forth game!

I didn't post anything because I have no idea what that trailer meant, hehe.

I LOVED Bioshock and will definitely get this when it comes out.

i loved bioshock and if there is another one and if it comes out for the pc i will get it, i also think that a return to Rapture would be cool if like years later your someone who finds it and you go in and you find out what happened before and some other stuff done that was not in the first game like expermints that you didnt know about or something

Bioshock was crazy-good. I hope that the sound design in Bioshock 2 is similar. It was extremely atmospheric.

Oh god, not ANOTHER bioshock?? The first one was TERRIBLE.

1. Never made good use of the whole "underwater" thing. I mean, really. 1 scene, in the beginning, when the plane crashed through and started to flood the one area. That was it. Sad.

2. Rigidly linear.

3. Bosses.

4. Plasmids. Really, who's going to waste their time using a plasmid to freeze enemies when after you kill them, they shatter, and you get no loot. POINTLESS. Chemical thrower? Napalm thrower? WTF! LOL! Hilarious.

The only "good" thing about the game was the atmosphere. After you get to the fisheries and warf area its rinse and repeat.

Everyone bought into the hype and as usualy, no one will admit it.

I thought it was good just too short.

I think you are wrong meat nub(sept 2008 huh). Do not come on and generalize for everyone, if it's a bad game people won't but it and guess what they bought it.

Replay value was near 0 but then again for most games for me it is. I just hate continuously doing the same thing over again. I usually finish a game and toss it aside.

We will see, i might get bioshock 2 but will great games coming out like starcraft 2, fallout 3, diablo 3... i might never bother.

Meat nub, you may want to change your pic, I don't know if it is allowed or not.

i hear you on that. Even though you could replay the game and make different choices, it still was pretty linear. However, the storyline was very compelling and there were some seriously emotional moments. Even thought it was only about 12 hours for me, it was a dang good 12 hours and I would pay the 60 bucks for the sequel... just please, please let it be good.
