After some research and reading Joe's review of this killer copper heat sink I bought one.

I gotta say guys it runs great!!! I have a new 1.333 ahyja Tbird running 93F right now.... plenty of room to oc there!!

anyone else pick this up? What is your take on it - I am EXTREMELY satisfied with it! ... words can't describe the performance I am getting now over my setup of old from 3 hours ago!!!!! NOW I get to truly OC!!! my AXHA 1g tbird just wasn't flexable enough for me.

I will update once I start the tweaking

does it really matter what is inside as long as it works well?

before my heat pipe heat sink I had a CAK38 blowing on a 1G AXHA tbird oc'd to 1.187G it ran 100f under load

I now run a 1.333 ayhja tbird (stock right now) and I am getting temps of 93F under the same strain.....

Case temp is 78F .........

They used to think that sailing was ok as long as you didnt sail of the end of the planet with the thinking that the Earth was flat.

I am curious as to what 'ingredients' make it a top notch HSF.

the thermo engine was a top notch heatsink when it first came out, turns it is just a clever design (and cheats abit too) i hope this is not as much of a flop

You say that now, but when it's revealed that the "active" ingredient is uranium 235....

Not going to happen. That ground has already been covered, so no need for more bloodshed.

In a nutshell, it works and it works well. I'm getting c/w's in the .25 range after lapping it. Article has been slow to compose, but proceeding.

I got mine to run 33C at 1.5GHz with open case, 39-40C with closed case - that should improve with dual blowhole install.

I did not lap but when I tear case apart to mod case... I will then.
