I installed 178.24 two days ago and have noticed an increased frequency of driver crashes in tough sections of Warhead and Crysis, as well (9800 GX2). These seem to happen regardless of the level of GPU overclocking and even at stock frequency...

Still no GX2 fan speed tracking in Precision.

I'm getting the exact same thing, with a gtx 260. Any 178.xx drivers are crashing the hell out of Crysis/Warhead. I keep having to go back to 177.xx to fix this. Happens even at stock speeds on both CPU and GPU.

I reinstalled 178.13 and things have stabilized. Replaying the same tough sections of Crysis (e.g. Reckoning) did not crash and actually ran 4 - 6 deg cooler  (according to Precision 1.3.2). I would be interested to know if others have noticed an increase in GPU temperature with 178.24.
