Like the subject states. Anyone have experiences with this make? I've got a friend whose got one but he runs almost default everything on his pc so he's not that savage.

Also, just as a general question, what would you say is a powerful enough ps? My specs are below and I plan 1.6 if I get there. I'm also getting a new case which will allow me to add a lot of fans to it. 300, even 350, doesn't sound enough for me. I know 400-450 is MORE than enough, but is it overkill for what I eventually will be doing?

If I'd known what I know now I would have jut bought a 600W PSU and been done with it for the next 5 or 6 years :D Don't take me wrong, my Enermax 431W has been plenty fine for me, but I just like to know that I have plenty of extra headroom in case I want to add 5 or 6 Deltas and send my comp to the moon :D

In your case, 350W and above is just fine. But remember that extra headroom. You never know what is going to come out next and a good quality PSU will last you a long time.

A 600w power supply for a computer doesn't exist. The 550w Enermax only actually outputs about 450 watts according to Enermax, but is rated higher due to its potential capacity.

I stand corrected ;) Thanks Golden, I actually thought they existed, but I checked and you are absolutely right. I guess one can always combine two PSUs thou.

600W ATX PS's certainly exist. I know that www.pcpowercooling.com has them. I'd be very surprised if other manufacturers didn't make them as well.

But, do you need a 600W PS? Not yet, IMHO.

Edit. If SH power supplies are on AMD's approved for Athlon list, one has metaphorically heard of them. However, getting AMD's nod of approval doesn't mean that a PS will last for five, three or even one year.
