I've exhausted all knowledge I have, and even exhausted all knowledge the support team had. I'll start with listing my operating system.
OS: Windows Vista Home Edition 64 bit
Issue: We all know what a modem is. I'm sure some of us know what Hamachi is. If you don't, I'll briefly explain. Hamachi is a program that tricks computers into thinking you are physically connected to another computer so you can play in the LAN rooms of games and cut out all the internet server lag whilst gaming online with friends/what have you.
I'm having an issue with my internet connectivity regarding online gaming and hamachi.
Firewalls can be completely off, and I still get this issue.
I'll use one game as an example (Although this happens with A LOT of games): CandC Generals Zero Hour. Using Hamachi, I can see my friend in the LAN room. I can join his hosted game, and we can start. But immediately after we start and we start playing, a message comes up (with most games as well) saying that the data synchronization has been lost between the two players and the game will end. This confuses me. I know that nothing is BLOCKING Hamachi otherwise we wouldn't have been able to see eachother. Its like something is limiting how much data can travel between our two computers when we start a game.
Also, my internet has been acting screwy. Sometimes I can't browse, sometimes I can. Everything is semi-new. the modem, the chords connecting everything... etc.
I've messed with all my modems settings, all my settings in Network and Sharing center, and the properties of all my network connections to try and allow as much data transfer as possible. But to no avail, with most games, we still lose data synchronization.
If any of you have any ideas, I would appreciate them.
