Is it normal for CPU INIT to shpw up every time I boot up? I understand that this is related to an error, but the board works fine... So why am I seeing it every time I boot?

Have you tried clearing CMOS? If you decide to do so, make sure the Clear RTC RAM switch (3-pin CLRTC_SW) is in the Enabled position, which enables you to use the clr CMOS switch on the back I/O.
