There very high quality but they have problems regulating the 5V line with feeds the CPU espicially with Epox boards.

Go for a 400 Watt Sparkle from www.dabs.com

AFAIK the Enermax PSUs only have a problem with the Epox boards. Now which one is at fault (PSU or Mobo) I don't know. But I'm very happy with my Enermax. I have my full tower loaded (no more room left), lots of fans and stuff. But my 5V line is steady at 5.15V. Of course I haven't started with any serious ocing yet, but looks like I got plenty of headroom.

AFAIK?????

I've heard many Enermax probs and serious probs with 5V lines Epox or not.

Go for Sparkle, ask HOOT, he's the master.

431W Enermax works like a charm with my system. Let's see what happens when I shift to a DDR system in a few;)

yes the enermax psu did have a major conflict with epox mobos. but the newer whisper models have totally resolved the problem. :D

The low 5V rail is a common issue in enermax's. They are good, just overrate IMO. Sparkle and Antec make good PSUs as well and they are the same price or cheaper.

Here in Ottawa I really think the Enermax's are overpriced as a generic 300watt would be 30 bux where a Enermax would be near 90 dollars for a 350 watt one.

I'd go for Antec or Sparkle if you would like to save some cash and have absolutely 0 conflicts.

My 300W Enermax runs fine, no 5V probs so far. I got this one, because I didn't really like the Aopen PSU that came with my case. Got to swap it out no charge. I keep hearing about the Sparkle PSU's, gonna have to find somewhere around here that sells them.

So the NEW (the don't sell the old do they???) 431Watt Enermax's would be ok on a 2Ghz + rig 2V Vcore 3.2V DDR ram, 4drives, 16fans and a 8500 onboard modem nic and sblive???

Well????

I don't wanna have to buy a 550Watt!!!! Or would a 460Watt Enhance (made by Enermax) or a 400Watt Sparkle be better??

I have an Enermax 350W with an Epox 8KHA, and I've had major troubles with it. I don't know why, but the DDR and Vcore have always run high, with the 5V low, and now it doesn't run. My computer started smoking and all of the red 5V lines one the ATX connector are scorched, as well as the connector melting itself to my motherboard.

I think my PSU is toast. Or the mobo. Or both. Who knows?

3.3V - 3.36
12V - 12.14

Since I have a Celeron 1.2 that I'm OCing, I'm disappointed in my Enermax 350 Whisper. With the setup below, 5v averages below 4.95, sometimes dips down to 4.85.
