I have an Asus V7700 Pure GTS and i'm running WIn XP PRO with all update made. My MB is an asus a7v266-e and my porblem is that windows keeps giving me blue screens telling that the driver " nv4disp " has a problem and it's giving system instability. Anyone knows what is this about ?
TIA.

boot into safe mode, then uninstall the video card drivers, then the video card itself then install newest nvidia drivers...oh yeah...the 23.11s have had some problems so try the 22.50 dets if that doesnt work....

Here is a database and driver link;

You should also get Detonator destroyer. This will remove all traces of previous drivers;

Hope this helps.

Thx again. i'll give it a try....
and install 21.81a from asus or 21,83beta3 from asus..
If that doesn t soleve your problem check the newsgroup
alt.comp.periphs.videocards.nvidia
and search for the topics infinite loop i think thats waht it is called
Since installing 21.81's I've had no probs with XP Pro
I uninstalled old drivers in safe mode first

One more question... Do you have AGP Drive force in auto or man. ? if manual, to my Asus V7700 GTS what would you advice?
