I have an Asus P5K Deluxe with a 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo overclocked to 2.8GHz. It has three temp sensors, Core 0, Core 1, and just CPU. CPU is always about 10°s cooler than the Cores, which hover around mid 40's on idle and push 60 under load. What are the differences between these sensors and which one do most people go by?

Welcome to OC Forums :welcome:

Cores 0 & 1 are the primary. Cpu is prolly the sensor under/near the cpu socket.

The core temps are what we go by. Use RealTemp to monitor the temps of the cores :)

they are both the same if you set4 the Tjunction the same? i think one is 95 and coretemp is 100...
