When I try to play a dvd with tv-out enabled it says it says "This protected disc cannot play with tv-out enabled"

Does anyone know a way to get around this???

oooh hello - looks like your using the software that came with the DVD player itself. Get yourself a nice new package that doesn't restrict anything...

RainMaQer, is right on the money here, this sort of thing should be dicussed through E-mail, or some other means, but not in the public forums. I'm not out to get you or anything, but this is a very touchy subject on the forums, and one wrong post could leave us all without a place to go.

My sincere apologies guys - I didn't think...

Please forgive me for my unsatisfactory actions...

hey man....i dunno if there's any other way around that software...but my suggestion is use Hollywood plus or REALmagic (i think they are the same...software name is Hollywood plus but in the display it says REALmagic) but anyway....use that, connect your s-video cord to your tv ... and there's a button on that software that you can't miss....click on that button and voila...transfer whatever play on computer to the TV...[or press tab]...goodluck....

Bad for the forums.

the software being referneced is free and works very well I'm not sure if it will work without the decoder card though, I've tried to install it without having my decoder in once and it exits the setup.
