3D06 score w xeon 3220 and 9800gtx 3ghz & vga stock ?'s

been outa the loop a while getting back to visiting oc.com and have not played w system for a while wondering if my 3D06 score is in line with what my system is

i am getting the hankering to overclock system as I wanna lay some new games on it, kinda comes in phases. had thought about flogging the gtx and finding a used gtx 260 since I have a 2408 HP lcd

9800GTX+ SCC
Samsung F1 640 spinpoint
Gskill 2x2 gb PC 6400 4,4,4,12
neo he 550
coolit freezone tec cooler
p182 w extra case fans

vga card is stock speed and running 3ghz scored 12088 marks. I wanna push the chip to 3.4-3.5 and clock the card slightly as well, what is realistic score with those speeds?

I get 15000+ with a 3.8ghz Q6600 and a wildly overclocked 8800gt.

The 9800gtx+ is just a die-shrunk wildly overclocked 8800gt with 12 more processor cores so I doubt there will be a huge discrepancy. I would say @ 3.5ghz you should score 15k.

i gotta punt vista 32 bit and go back to XP pro SP 2, I looked at some older scores with a past 8800GT and i was near 15K with a xeon 3210 at 3.4 yet at 3.0 with the 3220 I have in vista I am at high 12K mark so something is defintely off

personally between the 2 cards I notice the 9800gtx+ to be alot stronger at 1900x1200 gaming than the 8800gt was , but I gotta do a fresh format as I have run 2 long on what I have now.. thanks for feedback
