I found these SpeedGuide tweaks in one of these threads and my Cable connection now runs 1.9/.4 max. :D

I seem to remember there being a setting to help gaming pings at a minimal expense to DL's.
Does anyone know of any good Ping tweaks?
Thanx!

Ping is a measurement of the quality of the connection between you and the host site you are connected to. There really is no EASY way to do it. There are too many variables to consider, and the route would have to be static.

Sorry.

Thanx anyway.
I'll keep looking around though.

I did find these sites also:
http://www.cablenut.com/
http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks
and http://www.testmyspeed.com/westcoastspeedtests.htm

I'll post again if I find anyting else good.

DSLReports has an excellent tweak tester as well as some ways to make the way your computer handles the connection more efficient.

toast.net and 2wire.com are also on line speed testers.
