Planning on going with Vista for my next HTPC build. Wondering should I go with the 32-bit or 64 bit version. Will be doing some gaming but mostly for HD watching. Don't want to have a bunch of problems..

64 bit, leave room to upgrade the heck outta the ram. I just put 8gb on each of my two systems and I'm loving it. Vista 64bit Ultimate is what I'm using.

hardware manufacturers are actually realizing that 64bit operating systems are getting very popular amongst gamers now that increasing system memory beyond 4GB is becoming commonplace

i was finally able to find bluetooth drivers for Vista 64bit, as well as all of my other hardware, you should be fine

Go with x64, I have been running it for over a year now on my gaming PC and love it. But really 8GB is overkill, I haven't managed to cap out 4gb yet.

If they are the same price, why not go 64bit? I know with my new build I am going 64bit even though I already have Vista Ultimate 32bit :D
