Hey guys. I was trying to decide between a DDR2 and a DDR3 board and I have decided on a DDR3 board. Some people recommend the Asus Rampage Extreme but that's a bit more than I'd like to pay. Buy.com has the new eVGA 790i FTW Digital PWM boards (I'd get it for about 235$ on sale, 100$ off retail). What do you guys think about these? Newegg doesn't have this board so I can't compare it to the others review for review. Any suggestions are welcome.

My setup:
Q9650
eVGA GTX 280 FTW (might choose to SLI one day but probably not soon)
4 GB (2x 2 GB) of some DDR3 RAM (haven't decided brand/speed/etc yet)

The EVGA 790i is a good board. Especially for that price. I'd jump on it.

As for DDR3, if you want 2x2GB go with the GSkill 1600MHz @ 7-7-7-18. They're very good. Assuming you actually need 4GB. Are you running Vista? It helps, but you can certainly get by no problem with 2GB, and it's less expensive.
