has anyone ever do or seen someone do a volt mod on a ti500 card?
i have a dip switch on my mobo to go to 1.6v or 1.7v, but last time i tryed that 3dmark would load up and then disappear.. so i dunno.. im gonna try 1.6v and see if it helps in 3dmark..

The Ti500 is based on what kind of card;)

yea, i see.. but i wonder why anyone hasnt tryed it on a basic ti500?
i mean i have muti meter and a soldering iron, and a radioshack right behind my house and all, but i also dont wanna fry a 350 dollar card.. but i do have one of the best oc's for a ti500, but i want the best.. at least the best air cooled one neways..
altho im thinking about making a water setup w/ small plet just for the ti500, with a very small pump and so on.. but i dont have much money.. im +300 right now, but im gonan get me a new psu soon, and thats gonna drop me about 165.. so i dunno.. my goal is to hit 300 core and 600~625 memory clock speeds..
i had 277/605 on 2k aircooled, so it looks very possible..

I've seen a lot of voltmods on hardforum.com. People's overclock results seem to increase a lot with the overvolting. Try a google search... I've seen some articles with very good guides to overvolting and overclocking the GF3 cards with great results :)! Just be careful... frying a card like that is not a good thing to have happen!
