is there someone who has successfuly overclocked a 1ghz boxed cpu without haveing to buy a new cooling system. I wanted to know the exact specs to use and then go from there. I have a shuttle motherboard.

You will always have to end up buying a better heatsink as if you have a good motherboard and a good chip then your bottleneck towards the overclock would be cooling.

The 1gig cD0 Celeron will hit 1333 average with good cooling.

Sure, anyone can overclock a little bit without any fancy cooling mods. I'd at least make sure you have good thermal paste. I'd say about 1.1 gig should be within easy reach, if you're temps don't get too high.
