if you disable it, it might delete after a reboot.. or if you delete ur cookies and temp internet files it might..
im not to sure..
do a search on google for XP tweak sites, im sure theres a tweak for cleaning those up
open regedit, and do a search for "http://"...there is a string that keeps all those files (can't remember where, though...). Disable autocomplete, then delete that registry key. This is the only way to do it...other than that they will stay on your system...MSFT designed it that way

the closest thing i found was HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http.... any idea what the exact path would be?

started looking under tools ->internet options -> content and theres a autocomplete button. After clicking theres another button for clearing forms and clearing passwords. So i think thats how u clear the autocomplete entries. Too bad can't delete individual entries, at least without going into the reg and manually doing it. :burn:
