HP pavilion ZE4800 power problem

On my HP Ze4800 the power won't stay on. it will sometimes work if you wiggle the power cord where its plugged in and its very loose. so i think the power inverter circuit is dying/dead. i was wondering it there are any alternative power cords or any way to fix it without taking it in?
