I got my ATI HD 4870x2 from vistiontek yesterday and decided to Bench it.
I benched it out of the box with 3dmark06 with a score of 13050 @ 750mhz
I then went into the CCC and did the overdrive and recived a score 13240 @ 790mhz

My question is what else can i do to get this beast OC?
I've seen other 4870x2 getting up to 20k. What Driver should i be using? What settings and so on?
Also I have a 4850 would that improve anything if I Xfierd it with my new baby? I heard it will make it downgrade to the 4850 clock gpu and suck.

You're lucky you can oc through ccc. My HIS won't take from ccc. I have to bios edit for oc.
Would you mind showing a screenshot of gpu-z?
Also, in order to get higher scores in 2k06 would depend on the cpu oc. And cpu. 06 is mostly cpu dependent.

a score of just under 14k suggests that 3dmark is only using one gpu... i get about the same results and never bothered trying to get it to run with both coz benches dont interest me much....

Plus you will need to OC your CPU.Your not gonna break 20k with your cpu at 3.3ghz.I cant break 20k but with my Q6600 OCed to 3.8ghz i could and my card OCed pretty well also

Can you give us a screenshot of gpu-z??
Like this with both cores showing from the "drop-down" box in gpuz.
