hello!

i am interested in purchasing a refurbished white macbook (as a gift to my girlfriend). the prices have gone down with the release of the new macbooks. i want to get the white one with the 2.0ghz core 2 duo and 1gb of ram. now i want to get an aftermarket ram kit as i know that 1gig is not going to be enough.

i know i need laptop ddr2 667 mhz, but i want to know about capacity. apple lists on its website that this model only supports up to 2gigs of ram, but i am not sure that i buy that. can this model support 4gigs? if so that is the direction i want to go. thanks for the help!

OSX 10.5.5 Leopard and my white macbook T8100 2.1Ghz support all 4GB of my memory.

Also the current prices for refurb macbooks are a steal!
