Hi

E6600 -- HD4870x2 -- AW9D-MAX -- Tagan 700W -- Antec Twelve Hundred -- OCZ Reaper 2*2G --

I been reading allot of this motherboard, and think this was right hompage to get register too.

After reading the guide,

Cpu STD : 2,4
Cpu Oc : 3,6
Multi : *9
FSB :401
Memory : 1:1
Timings : 4-4-4-10-34
------------------------------------------
Memory standar timing is 5-5-5-18 =2,2V
------------------------------------------
Volt
Cpu : 1,5V
DDR2 : 2,3V
MCH:pCI : 1,80 (i think it was)

And this settup is Rock solid for me.
-----------------------------------------

Just a uppdate, Monts later ;)
Dont hate me.

I can say iam at this point have 430 FSB
I cant say what i have done, even tryed just with one memory, beacuse someone sade, when 2x2 it can be heavy for motherboard, but it dosent sems to be diffrent.
Anyhowe, at this point 430:FSB when typing this.
I now board could do it ;), i think i can go littlebit more, but then this settings

CPU Std : 2,4
CPU OC : 3,86
Vcore : 1.7250 (This is highest i can go :( in bios) // CPU Temp = 54-55 idle
DDR2V : 2.20
MCH : 2.0 (This is highest i can go :( in bios) // 25C

Fells kinda high on Air

Just wanted to uppdate.

Hi & welcome to OCForums.

I know the MCH is pretty limited on the AW9D. Maybe you can lessen the load on it by setting your timings to 5-5-5-15-42 @ 2.2v. Also, try to lower the MCH/PCIe Voltage a little. Try 1.65v, 1.70v, 1.75v & keep the lowest stable value.

If you don't already have one, add a fan to the NB heatsink too.

I managed to get my AW9D to 439FSB 1:1 RAM. I could run some benches, but it wasn't stable. Just so you know, few 975X chipsets can get past about 425-430FSB.

Hi, thank you.

And thanks for reply.
Hm, well i have fan on mosfett, stuff.
Dont have any fans on NB, beacuse its not gonna fit there i think, beacuse i have difrent cooler now, this one i have Thermalright HR05/IFX North Bridge Heatsink (Bare Sink)

And if i have a fan there too, its verry close to grafikcard, and i have 4870x2 and that one is hot as hell ;)

So i tried the 1:1 but i get error in memtest so i mean even if i load 2,45V on merory with 5-5-5-18-43 (lastone i tryed put higher.
But what you mean with limeted?
I think its pretty much volt to set in bios.

memory is 2,2v in 5-5-5-18 =1066
Ishouldent need to have more, if they only go in 800 i think anyway, sound funny if so.

just get a new tv yeasterday and i have it on wall now :) me like like it :)
but i never stop trying Oc, i think it is some settings i do wrong, or bios in fail, dunno realy computer works great.
Well back on fixing some stuff.

Sorry bad Eng.

Welcome to OCF

The AW9D was never one for high fsb, I had a really hard time much over 410. and anything after that wouldn't be what most would call stable.

Hate to say it, but 401 could be it fror being stable on your board.

Hi

Thanks

Yea i think 401 is end for me.
Many have same iusse.
But many test shows, that they over 450 just with new coolers.
And Many shows 400 walls.

But this is just my luck :(
But its just keep going on trying, no harm in that ;)
