You'll be back. :)

We ALL hit this point where we have to take care of RL issues and keep a roof over our heads.

Don't dispair. You'll be back.

That's never an easy choice, but you did what you had to do, I'm sure.

Folding or not, I hope you'll pop in and say hello, when you can. You're too good a forum member and teammate, to lose.

I echo... sorry to hear that gaza. :( We all must put family and livelihood first... that is the order of things.

I'm sure you'll be back with a vengeance... just remember your team is always here and we'll miss your presence.

Take care!

We do all come back again later when life permits us to. I'm a testament to that.
Hope all goes well in your real life, mate!

I truly understand how it feels as I had more than once thinking to shut mine down too due to the high electric bill (mainly in the summer time when my power bill hit over $600/mo!!)!! I've been limiting the number of the rigs and switched to higher efficiency machines. e.g. no more PS3 folding, none overclock on those dedicated folder (it helps to cut down the power consumption with just a couple hundreds ppd less, move to GPU folding, etc. at the end, just try to do better ppd/watts. at least we are going into winter now, so house cooling cost will be a lot less in the next few months.

as Adak said, fold or not, just be sure to stop by here every now and then. and who knows, may be when you come back, you'll be even bigger than before!

Sorry to hear that gaza. Do what you need to do. Hopefully you'll be back at some point in some capacity- even if it's a work PC running the standard FAH client. But regardless, remember that such a commitment naturally ebbs and flows, and no matter what you do, your efforts aren't in vain, nor are wasted, as they count towards a greater good.

I remember thinking/posting recently that I wondered what happened to gaza... well, I guess I should have looked at old threads and I would have found my answer. Stupid memory, I obviously could not "brain" on that day. :bang head

We sure could use his power right now! :)
