Is it safe to run two PSU's on one computer as shown here?

Could this crash or break any part of my compter, specially the video card which is what i want to power with the extra PSU

Any help would be appreciated, because currently i have a spare PSU lying around and i need more power to run my 8800GT.

If your having to run 2 PSUs like this you are far better off going and buying a good one.

I wouldn't bother with the risk especially if you planned on using and older psu, 1 short from a mistake or a bad psu and you fry everything, not worth it with when you can get 1 good psu with lots of power and connections for everything for cheap

You can run dual PSU's, some cases (Original Stacker) come with the mounting ability for a second PSU and the cabling to do it.

Unless you REALLY need to, I wouldnt personally do it though. I am looking at running dual PSU's in my stacker and having all cooling on the secondary PSU. Then again, The primary is a Zippy 500w and the secondary will be a PC&C 510.

You're getting good advice here.

With the price of decent power supplies today, it's more prudent to upgrade your Dell's if you want to run that video card. Some of the Dell power supplies are proprietary, some are not. Go here and check your model for a replacement:

You don't need a lot more and as an example, the Antec Earth Watt line, such as the EA380, can be purchased very cheaply if you shop around and they are decent. Other OEM units, such as the small Fortron and Seasonic units would do just as well.
