well i am at 1200 and seem to be stable using 1.9V
Max temp is 39-41C....
celeron 900 malay
Q139A321-1122 SL5MQ
So got some more to push...
looks like i can finaly put my 633 cBo to rest.
(rejected a 800 cCo, 850 cDo in the quest for more speed)
Also found out why i was having troubles...
My second PSU is only giving me a little over 11V on he 12V line.
(used a multimeter)... So not sure what I am gona do about that.

My cele 900 ran 133 FSB......no problem

what was the sspec?
temp, and at what vCore?
Just interested.....
I think i should be able to get about 140FSB with this CPU...
I think asking for 150FSB may be a little to much from the Overclocking gods
800 cCo are lemons (or what that just mine?)
dont by OEM 850's (1st OEM CPU and got bit in the @$$ for it)
but do trade them for $$ and boxed 900's :D

SL5MQ.......It's in my GA60XET-C now @ default...Put it
in just to get running. Will have PIII 1.26 S tomorrow!!
Idle...32C.....load 40-41C...it did 133 FSB easy, maybe
I should play before I take it out!!!

My C2 900 cD0 SL5LX now is rock stable @1.2Ghz, possible PS prob, I'll try higher freqs very soon :)

Well, for the accuracy are exactly 1205.79Mhz coz the Fsb is @133.98Mhz like reported by WCpuID 3.0d :D

Hi jay,
Now my Cellie is working Rock Stable @138Mhz with 1.95v, tried with 139Mhz but freeze after a while in XP, and doesn't boot XP at all @140Mhz, at what speed are you going now? I'm interested to compare the results, thanks ;)

I've been running the same chip as Doors at 142 mhz stable with a pep-66 w/peltier with prime95 running, but at 144 it runs for a few seconds ,then goes like haywire.Must reboot to contune at all after that on a 6163 pro MSI I think its working the "BX" chipset TOO hard..It seems it will go more but I don't know if its just too far out of spec..The harddrive/videocard/or Controller speed?. No blue screens..Anybody heard of that problem?

i really havent had to much time to push this CPU that hard
only running it at 135 FSB @ 1.8V
Well now i know what i am going to be doing tonight..
I got some free time now :)
gona Vid pin it.
I got no problems pushing 2.1 Volts through it :)
Gota get my water back before i try 2.3 need 145FSB for 1.3

Plz, what do you wanna mean with '@144Mhz it runs for a few seconds, then goes like haywire'??? it freeze or what?
give us more info about your system, like mem modules, HeatSink, VCore & temps@full load ;)

He means that after maybe posting the cpu just craps out at those high speeds.
Looks like you can go more with some better cooling and some more voltage.

I haven't been in Canada, for the moment, but a friend of mine was there a couple of years ago, and had really great fun, and another one is now moving from Naples to Vancouver to live with his girlfriend knew in chat some time ago ;) it must be really a pretty nice place, even if a little cool for me :D

Ok,I was getting a ERROR message in Prime95 while it would run after a few..&.would give no or bad temp reading..etc..so...Last night I upped the voltage to 2.0v and it ran ok,but it was late.Ran like 3 minutes..Today I been running it for the last 1 3/4 hours at 144 mhz with air cooling and no problems at all but the temps have rised a bit. Like 30C=cpu and 45C=Motherboard Temps on a 6163 Pro (MSI).A PeP-66 heatsink/w a peltier(big one) and now a 40 cfm fan.It sure heats up a room fast..Tried the next step at 150-mhz it just locks up,no blue screen but just locks and must reboot..All test were with prime running at least 20 minutes and adjustment with busracing software program. If it works with prime 95 running it will boot up at that speed..It sure seems to go REAL Fast!.I now wish I had some water to cool this down because it getting the room warm:cool:

if you can run this program for 12 HR, then you are stable
http://www.vtoy.fi/jv16/programs/StabilityTest.exe
funny enough its called CPU Stability Test...
and this prog gets my CPU hotter than anything else i can throw at it.
oh and 137FSB (and rising)

I mentioned this in another thread too. try 3dmark2001. Once you go beyond 133 you enter into not only what your cpu can handle but your vid card and more important your ram. this test attacks it all and really burns in the whole rig. on a lot of different platforms where you may get great o/c this test by far will determine what is really a feasible fsb and voltage to stick with for your usage.Nothing worse than running a proggie at a fsb you thought was stable only to see it crap out on you and lose some important data.

i guess i should mention that i have tested my RAM and AGP card already at higher FSB's with unlocked (down only, PRE AUG 98) P2 333. SO i know i have no problems with the RAM (all Micron) of AGP card (MX)... Plus i am also playing games without any problems :)
I dont think 3dMark is much of a stress test. Your video card should handle AGP bus speeds of up to 100.
Before I was at a 115 FSB and 1/1 AGP bus dividers and it worked fine.
The programs I recommend you running is the following for a major stress tester:
CPUBurn
Prime95
Toast (High Priority)
Those programs are the extreme for me especially CPUBurn as it got 8 degrees hotter than Prime and Seti did.

well it goes 1300 mhz for 6 hours with prime95 running at which time it gets an Error.it does still run,but Prime95 stops.Changed to a 50 cfm fan and it works much cooler.(25-26*C)..With a voltage change it goes to 1395 in softbios, but not very stable..It looks like the power supply will not keep the core voltage stable and not at 12 volts (system)or above.Drops to like 11.67v at times.A Better power supply or an extra power source for the peltier will get me to that 1395 mhz ,I think. That stability Test program runs ok and hot,but seem to tax the boards controller more than anything.
Anybody got some other Ideas what it might be ?:D
