I was wondering what precisely are you using to attach the rad to the back I cant quite tell if there screws or something made of clear plastic.

killuazaoldyeck
11-08-08, 08:09 PM
ordinary long screws. and i cut and used the cold catode's tube for spacers

Excellent. That fluid is *loud*. Very clean routing too; I've got 1/3 that number of connections in my system and it looks like a mess.

Also, is the car in the background a G35 with some kind of mod?

Did you take out the side, Fan grill? If so, are you still able to mount a fan on the side? Because I could do the same thing to my 900, would help with air circulation.

tnx!! actually im redoing this rig. i took off the 240 rad at the back, replaced inside the case, but i was unlucky for the temp, not enough airflow to blow the rad. so i bought thermochill 160.1 and put on the top of my antec 1200.

heres some pics with the unsuccessful temps:screwy:

and yes i forgot, i add one more 4870x2 and took off the DD water block, changed it to 2 EK

Very nice rig...hopefully I'll be able to do something similar soon, but probably only run 1 loop (not gonna crossfire like you).

Question though, do you have any more pics of the front of the case with the rad mounted there? I'm curious as to how well it all closes up when you're finished. I'm thinking about gettting the 1200 and I want to make sure you can neatly mount the rad inside the case and I'm looking for ideas on placement (front or top or just hang it off the back if it comes to it).

Very Nice.

I love it when people take the time to do it right, and you DID . The 1200 looks like it has a good amount of space, is that were the PSU goes in the stock setting ?

How is your flow with the 90deg connectors ? I have stayed away from them cause I like to keep my D5 on low, and was worried about them killing my flow.

Very slick setup!

I love that case, I also have one liquid cooled. Thing is though how do you fit hard drives in there? I wanna do a 4 drive RAID and find I can only fit 3.

How'd you fit your drives? I don't see them anywhere...
