View Full Version : What's the "J2 reserved" jumper on my MSI MS-6905 Master slotket?

I finally got a hold of a MSI MS-6905 Master 2.3 slotket. Right now, I have the FSB set to "CPU define" (J1= short, J4 = short 1-2) and the slotket set to "Single Processor" (J3 = open). I have a C433.

The Vcore are all set to "Auto" (JV0-4 = short 1-2). My question is, what the heck is that "J2 reserved" jumper that's on the other side of the slotket? What setting should I have this on?

Try Pming ' LutaWiscasa ' hes a senoir with that slotket but I do believe there are jumpers to identify if it is a Cumine or not. Not sure get a hold of him and he'll help you out.

Thanks for the ref Yodums. The weird thing is that the box tells you how to configure jumpers J1, J3, and J4. And also tells you how to configure the Vcore jumpers JV0, JV1, JV2, JV3, and JV4. But it tells you nothing about jumper J2. It says it's "reserved" on the box, but that's it. There's a jumper cap on it, but it's not placed correctly -- it's sorta hanging there.
