160 gb hard drives in raid 0 great results

Hi I have just recentley got my hands on two WD1600AAJS which I
am very suprises with thay are a lot faster than I thought here is the hd tune
spec

maximum 213.1 mb/sec
average 164.4 mb/sec
access time 15.8
burst rate 126.6 mb/sec
cpu usage 9.4

I'm currently using 3xHitachi 160Gb drives... they were REALLY cheap, and a RAID0 with 3 so small drives works great...

I guess you have even faster single drives so it should work even better for you.

yup, i had 3x 80g in raid 0 i hit around 184 average and about 230 max, is nice cause raid 0 literally doubles the speed.

Yeh. I'm thinking of picking up another 160gig HDD and making a RAID 0. Could use the faster loading times wehn playing online :).
