You can get an overclocking program here (http://www.rageunderground.com/).

Keep in mind you don't want to waste any time with buying new cooling for it. Any more will cost more than it would be to buy a Voodoo 3 or some other card which would vastly outperform it :(.

would voodoo 3 be the best bang for the buck ?

Well if you already have he card than go for it...I'm guessing you do, right? If its a standard Ati Rage128, than its probably just got a heatsink on it. Which kind does it have? I've seen them with the small sorta flat looking ones, and also the heatinks that look like they have pins on them. If you have a conventional looking heatsink on it, you could pull it off, clean off whatever thermal material is there (if any) and put some regular heat sink paste on it...ofcourse, if its not held in with pins and is glued to the gpu than go ahead and use thermal epoxy.
An alternative to this is using a TINY amount of super glue on the outside corners of the gpu, and thermal grease on the rest of the gpu and then bond it that way.
If you can dig up a spare or old 40mm fan, then you can attach it to the heatsink. This won't be great cooling, but alot better than stock...and almost free.
Voodoo3's aren't bad for their prices nowadays, neither are Geforce2 MX2000's...I've seen voodoo3's around 30 bucks and mx's around 40. But, you might want to go a little beyond that and atleast get a geforce2 card with ddr, like a gts, pro, or gf2ti...
Good luck

You can overclock that with that Rage overclocker that eoboard suggested or with Powerstrip, but I've never liked powerstrip. Too many extras that I'm not interested in.
My best advice would be to just see what kind of MHz you can get out of it with the stock cooling and save up your cash. If you upgrade, go with at least a GF2 MX400. GF2 GTS's and GF2 Pro's are getting pretty cheap, but if you're going to spend that much you might as well pony up to a GF3 Ti200. I'd think that would be your best value.

Hey! I have an ATI Rage all in wonder 32 mb Pro card and Theyre is not a game I have run into that I can't run with 100% smooth playablity. S'not a bad card.
Sorry, Im just hardcore about ATI. And although theyre are better. This little card has served my purpose for a long time now.
And yes if its th standard it should just have a heatsink on it. A crystal orb would work well (or blorb) but Mine seems to run fine with heatsink.
