Good digital camera vendors?

Im just not finding what I want on Amazon or NewEgg. Ive never really shopped for a digital camera, so Im not exactly sure where I should be looking. Someone help me out here.
Edit: Hell, might as well ask this here too. Anyone have an exceptional digi cam that they just LOVE?
Im looking for something around 9mp+, decent zoom(3x+), touch screen would be great but is definitely not necessary.
Needs to be able to record decent video and take focused pictures pretty quick.

love my original Canon Rebel Xt, loved my Canon 20D after that and i now love my Canon 40D!

also the canon sd1000 is an awsome little camera.

Amazon, Dell, Newegg, even Staples or Best Buy if they have a model you're interested in. Be sure to also look on Google shopping if you have a model picked out. There's some good deals in there as well (just make sure you buy from a rated/reputable reseller).

My budget is somewhere around 250.
