This has probably been posted before
Just to lazy to go through all posts with slow 56k
At newegg they have a xp1600 for about the same price as a t-bird 1.4ghz with ayhja stepping (spelled wrong probably, but you know) I went to the cpu overclocking list
looks like the 1.4 get up there more than the xp probably because multipler is already unlocked.. Anyways I'm looking for the one that will give me the biggest boost in game performance
On toms they had the 1.4 being beaten by the xp1600 by a little over 100 points...... but if I can overclock the 1.4 up pretty high also I'm not going to get a new mobo forawhile
and well right now my bus doesn't run stable through 3dmark even with a 140bus (I think its my psu going to order that from newegg too) and thats a unlocked 850.....
tried lowering multipler, setting 4x to 2x and a few other things cas to 3 still didn't run stable.......
anyways xp or t-bird?
Thanks
