View Full Version : NEED HELP! USB mic and Vista staticy over podcast!

A buddy and I are trying to do a podcast. I'm fine, but he's using Vista. His mic when connected to the podcasting software (TalkShoe) is always jittery and distorted. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this or how it could be fixed?

Well, is he using a decent mic? Does the same mic work fine on your xp? machine? Perhaps the mic is using a standard driver bundled with windows, maybe theres a better one from the manufacturer online? Do some testing.
